Summary of the Event (at least 3 major points; each point will have its own paragraph)

A. In twitter, elected president Donald J. Trump tweeted, North Korea just stated that it is

in the final stages of developing a nuclear weapon capable of reaching parts of the U.S. It

won't happen! with another tweet discussing the fact that China does not budge to help.

As these verbal missiles were launched towards the North Korean leader, North Korea

will still be testing their missiles that are trained to be aimed towards America and its

allies. With this, North Korea is a unique threat. On Kim Jong-Uns side, he stated that

one of his main goals was, "to cope against the vicious threats for nuclear war by the

Imperialists."
B. North Korea is a different threat than the two main powers Russia and China. North

Korea holds a million of soldiers just on the border of South Korea, prepared to fight and

minimize the opposing soldiers, so they could begin launching the missiles. While the

North boasts, the South is actually in a disadvantage, as their president has no power due

to corruption charges and charges against the court with wanting to either remove her

from the office or be reinstated. Kim Jong-Un is determined to have this launch ready by

2017.

C. Wrapping the whole conflict together, this will only cause the U.S to be in tension with

China. Because of Trumps thinking in China not wanting to help, if they continue like

this, the U.S will make it harder for Beijing to trade with them. He also suggested that

hed order them to assassinate Kim Jong-Un to get him out of the way quickly. The only

way to stop the threats from ever getting to Los Angeles, or Honolulu, will be up to

Donald Trump's decisions.

Your Opinion of the Event (at least 3 sentences).

My opinion on this event is that no matter what anyone tweets, nor what anyone says, it

will never change the situation. The only way we could ever protect ourselves is by

actions. For example, Donald Trump speaks for himself in an idea for the event, but does

not really have a plan to stop it. When I read this, it's like we're just sitting here, waiting

for it to happen before we actually get to do anything to stop it.

Relate your Event to a Historical Event (compare and contrast with current event).

A historical event that this relates to is the Cold War that took place in 1950. It takes this

situation way back to when Communism was Americas greatest enemy. . Till today,

America faces threats from North Korea, even after the treaty was signed back in 1953.

The main three, Russia, China, and North Korea, still being allies against the United

Nations, however, China and Russia now stand at a different ground. Theyre not well

fanatics of North Koreas plans and ideas.

Relate your Event to the a subtheme (at least 3 sentences).

This event relates to Political Structures. The article explains both revolts and conflict

within two big rivals; North Korea and America. There's currently tension between the

two countries that brings conflict between the two leaders. Not only the leaders, but the

people within the country and the allies will bring conflict into the situation.
