SCENE 1

INT. MICHAS HOUSE - DAY

MICHAs running late for school, she looks for her yaya.

MICHA
Yaya! Where are my shoes?! Im
running late for school!

YAYA
Opo maam. Ito na po.

Yayas holding Michas shoes in a hurry.

MICHA
Slowpoke! Im getting you fired
next thing in the morning! Ill
tell daddy!

Micha gets her shoes and goes outside to the car angrily.
Yaya sighs as Micha walks away from the gate.

SCENE 2

EXT. MICHAS CAR - DAY

Michas is seating at the backseat. As she is seating, she is

looking outside the window observing the environment around
her.

Michas still looking outside the window without emotions.

INTERCUT WITH:

SCENE 3

EXT. SIDEWALK - DAY

Suddenly, ALEX is trotting happily on the sidewalk.

Alex goes to the beggar and snuggles with the beggar, then
continues to walk around the area again looking for food.

Scene 4

EXT. CARENDERIA- DAY

ALING PACING is cooking food in the kitchen suddenly, she

drops her spatula accidentally.

ALING PACING
AY PUNYETA!

She finishes cooking then serves the dish to the customers

table.

Then Alex goes to the carenderia and begs to the customers by

sitting down beside them. The customers shooes Alex away.
Aling Pacing suddenly sees Alex and smiles.

ALING PACING (CONTD)

Koooohhh~ tch tch tch~

Alex goes to Aling Pacing.

ALING PACING (CONTD)

Andito ka nanaman ha?

Aling Pacing pets Alex.

ALING PACING (CONTD)

Gutom ka ba? Ano gusto mo?

Aling Pacing shows alex the food.

Alex stands up and sniffs one of the trays

ALING PACING (CONTD)

Ah gustomo yan? Sige teka lang ah.

Aling Pacing gets a serving of it and some plate, then puts

on some on it and gives it to Alex.

Alex looks down and starts eating.

Aling Pacing smiles while watching Alex eat.

SCENE 5

EXT. LOCAL RURAL STREET- DAY

Alex finishes eating, but brings the fish bone with her. Then
goes walking in the street again.

Then suddenly stops in a common place near the trash can then
places the fish bone there.

Alex then walks away and continues to trot. Then cats go

smell the fish bone Alex left.

SCENE 6

EXT. PARK, MIDDAY- AFTERNOON

Alex goes to the park.

MANG CARLO is sitting down by the bay, looking and

contemplating at the view.

Alex goes to him and sits next with him.

MANG CARLO
Youre late.

Mang Carlo looks at Alex and smile.

MANG CARLO (CONTD)

I thought youd never arrive. I
thought youd forget me like
everybody else

Mang Carlo pats Alexs head.

MANG CARLO (CONTD)

Sometimes I wonder, what is life?
Im near to my end yet I dont know
what life is.

Alex is looking at the view.

MANG CARLO (CONTD)

But then, when I think I shouldnt
be thinking about it. Thinking
about it will just make me not
figure it out. I should just enjoy
this view.

Mang Carlo smiles then looks at the sky.

MANG CARLO (CONTD)

Its nicely painted today, isnt
it?

Alex still looking at the view.

SCENE 7

EXT. STREET- NIGHT

Alex is walking in the dark road.

TAMBAYS is drunk starts tripping on people then cat calls a

woman. They see alex then starts throwing stones and laughing
as Alex left.

SCENE 8

INT/EXT. MICHAS HOUSE- DAY

Micha goes outside of the house but with a different maid

then rides insides the backseat of the car.

SCENE 9

INT. MICHAS CAR- DAY

Micha stares outside the window like the usual and sees Alex
pop out the trash can with a banna peel in her head. Then
looks back at the main road again.

MICHA
Ugh! Its traffic again! Im gonna
be late!

Micha sighs angrily then looks outside of the window again.

INTERCUT WITH:

SCENE 10

Micha sees Alex again but this time bringing some food she
got to the beggar. The beggar then pets Alex and hugs her.

Micha lets out a simple smile while looking outside the

window.

SCENE 11

EXT. CARENDERIA- DAY

Alex is with Aling Pacing eating again. Then a CUSTOMER sees

Alex and smile. Then approaches Aling Pacing giving her a
tip.

Aling Pacing smiles widely and nods

ALING PACING
Thank you!

Customer smiles and pats Alex before leaving.

SCENE 12

EXT. PARK- DAY

Alex is trotting again and playing with the kids in the park.
The leaves afterwards to go see Mang Carlo like the usual
routine.

But Mang Carlo isnt there.

Alex sit still and look around

INTERCUT WITH:

SCENE 13

A GIRL then looks around and sees Alex and goes approach her

GIRL
Youre here!

The Girl smiles but is starting to tear up.

Alex looks at her

GIRL (CONTD)
Dad died last night. Im his
faraway daughter, the hospital
called me to pick up his corpse for
burial. He left a letter saying
that I should give this to you.

The Girl brings out a collar with a flower on it.

GIRL (CONTD)
He said in the letter that I can
always find you here in the
afternoon. I thought Ill never
find you. This is his last wish, he
said in the letter that I should
put it on you.

The Girl places the collar with a flower into Alexs neck.
Then hugs Alex and cry.

Scene 14

EXT. RURAL LOCAL STREET- NIGHT

Tambays are drinking outside, making noises and laughing.

Alex pass by them.

Then ANOTHER GANG comes toward the group of Tambays.

GANG LEADER
OI! PUTANGINA! NASAN LEADER NIYO?!

ONE OF THE TAMBAY

GAGO! Wala kaming kinalaman sa Gang
War niyo!

ANOTHER GANG MEMBER

Anong wala! Puta! Kilala niyo nga
si Tonyo eh! Ilabas niyo na!
Tangina!

ANOTHER TAMBAY MEMBER

Sinabing nga di namin alam!

Chaos starts as the gang brings out bats.

Alex sees it and goes barking at the gang members. The Gang
stops in fear. Alex shows he sharp teeth to the Gang Members
and chases them as the Gang run.

Alex goes back to the Tambays. As they cheer for joy and pet
Alex.

ONE OF THE TAMBAY

Ayos! Galing mo! Ito isaw gusto mo?

The Tambay feeds Alex and pets her.

SCENE 15
 7.

EXT. MICHAS CAR- DAY

MICHA
Whats with the traffic?! Omg! Im
so late! Ugh! Its not moving!

Then Micha looks at the front window of the car.

MICHA (CONTD)
Why are there people around? What
happened?

Micha looks outside the window, she notice that the beggar
isnt there anymore.

MICHA (CONTD)
Huh? Wait for me, Ill just go out
and see whats happening.

Micha goes out of the car. And into the crown, trying to peek
on the commotion.

As Micha moves her way into the crowd, she sees Alex in the
ground lifeless.

MONTAGE:

1. Alexs ear.

2. Alexs paws with blood slowly streaming.

3. The collar with a flower covered in some blood.

Micha starts tearing up. And starts asking people around.

While the rescuers carry the lifeless Alex.

MICHA (CONTD)
W-what happened?

She looks at the people around her then she sees Aling Pacing
crying and goes near her.

ALING PACING
Nasagasaan siya kaninang umaga ng
kotse. Tinakasan nung nakasagasa.

Micha couldnt believe what she saw and heard. She starts
crying.Aling Pacing hugs her as she cries as well.

As the crowd slowly disperse. Micha and Aling Pacing are the
only one left.

FADE OUT.

SCENE 16

EXT. OUTDOOR- DAY/NIGHT

FLASHBACK:

NARRATOR (V.O.)
There are things that Alex taught.

Micha smiling outside the window while seeing Alex give food
she got to the beggar.

NARRATOR (V.O.)
She taught kindness.

Aling Pacing and the customer.

NARRATOR (V.O.)
She taught generosity.

Mang Carlo and Alex together.

NARRATOR (V.O.)
She gave happiness.

The Tambays celebrating.

NARRATOR (V.O.)
She gave them loyalty and
unconditional love.

Alex giving the fish bone to the cats.

NARRATOR (V.O.)
Living in simplicity and love, is
the meaning of life in a dogs
eyes.

FADE OUT.

SCENE 17

EXT. LOCAL NEIGHBORHOOD- DAY

After 1 year

Michas walking towards Aling Pacings carenderia.

MICHA
Aling Pacing!

ALING PACING
Oh Micha! Napadaan ka!

MICHA
Ah its nothing.

Michas hands her a flyer.

MICHA (CONTD)
I would like to hold some outreach
for dogs and animals at the local
shelter. Would you like to come?

Aling Pacing takes the flyer and smiles.

ALING PACING
Is it in memory of Alex?

Micha nods and smiles.

ALING PACING (CONTD)

Naku! Sige sige! Sasama ako! Ako ng
bahala sa pagkain!

MICHA
Alright Aling Pacing! Ill let the
others know if they wanna go. See
you!

ALING PACING
Sige! Masaya yan! Thank you iha!

Micha smiles and waves goodbye.

MICHA
Yaya! Lets go na po!

SCENE 16

INT. ANIMAL SHELTER- DAY

Micha, Aling Pacing, Yaya and their other FRIENDS having fun
and playing with the animals during the outreach.

While walking to get materials, Micha then sees a dog that

looks like Alex. As she looks at the dog it moved forward
towards to her, she kneeled down pet the dog. And smiled.

END.
