Course Description:
Banking and Financial Services is an interactive seminar that brings students, faculty, and
industry leaders together to study and discuss critical issues facing todays financial services
industry. The course will address the full range of financial services including investment
and commercial banking, insurance, pension plans, risk management, mutual funds,
e-commerce, and personal and business planning. Leadership, customer service, and
marketing issues will be discussed. Finally, the course will provide a comprehensive
overview of the structure of the financial system, interest rate and business cycle
determinates, and international financial markets.
