Hypothesis
We thought that there wouldnt be a big difference between the classes. We did think there
would be a small difference but not a really big one, because the students who went to
Atheneum also could choose Gymnasium or TTO in first class.
Literature study
it turned out that smarter people have a more efficient brain, there is a faster communication
between different areas in the brain. Your brain exists of hundreds of different cells and you
intelligence does for a part depend on how fast they communicate.
Intelligence does not only depends on your skills on for example solving things, language
and memory, but also on mental skills. You dont pass an exam if you dont understand the
exercises, or if you cant remember the formulas to solve something.
Man and woman are both intelligent on their own way. Men are in general better in math,
spacial view and women in language and memorizing.
Workplan
This was our workplan:
Person 1 13 of 15 9 of 15 14 of 15
Person 2 8 of 15 6 of 15 10 of 15
Person 3 11 of 15 10 of 15 8 of 15
Person 4 6 of 15 5 of 15 8 of 15
Experiment
So as you already know we wanted to use 4 different
classes. Out of these classes we used 3 girls and 3
boys. All second year VWO. They were 12 to 14
years old.
P.S. we did the experiment in Dutch because not everyone was TTO student.

We saw that if you count everything together G2B scored the highest. G2B scored 61 points
with the girls and the boys scored 51 points. A2C was second. They scored 49 points with
the girls and also 49 with the boys. We did see that everyone made the test better with
music. After all everyone made the test really bad. There was one person who even had 2
questions out of 13 correct so that is really low.
Discussion
We did have good teamwork, we
said everybody makes and then
its okay.
But with the music we didnt use the
same music 3 times so that could
be something we could do better
End
We had a lot of fun doing this
project, also because our teamwork
was really good. The only thing we
could do better is work faster.
