    To Whom It May Concern:

    As a Social Studies teacher at New Technology High School for Geography, World
    History, U.S. History, Government, and Economics; I have had the pleasure of knowing
    Javier Sanchez for the last three years. He has been a tremendous student and an asset to
    our school. I would like to take this opportunity to recommend Javier for your
    scholarship.

    I feel confident that he will continue to succeed in his studies. Javier is a dedicated student
    socially and academically here at New Tech. In class, he has proven to be a take-charge
    person who is able to successfully develop plans and implement them. New Technology
    High School focuses on standards based instruction delivered within a project based
    learning environment. Classes are based off of 21st century learning outcomes and all
    students work within teams. Javier excels in this environment and helps those students
    within and outside his teams to succeed.

    It is for these reasons that I offer high recommendations for Javier Sanchez without
    reservation. His drive and abilities was truly an asset to our school. If you have any
