Wehavea3storycondominium.Itsoneofthebiggerones,ifIhadtoguess.
Theoutsideisbig,buttheoutsideisntcompletelyours.Wejusthavetheporch
bythecornerofthebuilding.Wegetmostofthebottomrightcorner,whichhas3
bigwindowsand2smallonesonthegroundfloor.Totalwindowsisaround7big
windowsand4smallones.Theoutsideisabrownishtan,reallygrainyplaster,
buttheinsideisdarkish.Theroofislikeabrickredroof,exceptitsplated
concreteanditsaroof.Despitethewindows,alotofthetimesitsfairlydarkand
thelightsarentontosaveelectricity.Wehave4bedrooms,and8people,soits
alsosemicrowded.Stuffispiledeverywhere,butthefloorisclear.Intermsof
squarefeet,itsprobablysimilartoanaveragehouse,itsnottoosmall,butits
small.

Myparentsgavemethatnamebecausemydadhad2names,sotheywantedto
givetheirson2namesaswell.Tobetechnical,mynameismadeupof3names:
Ryan,Dylan,andJayce.Thosewerethreenamesthatmymomlikedwhenshe
taughtpreschool,3ofherkids.Andshethought(orIassumedshethought)I
cantreallychoose2outofthosenames.IthinkRyanandDylancouldbe
combinedanditwas,intoRylan.RyanandDylan.Rylan.Thesecondpartofmy
forename,orfirstname,isJayce,whichwasanotherstudent.
Mynamealsoaffectedmysiblingslateron.Mylittlebrother,CaidonMarc,and
myotherlittlebrother,EvanSeth.Theyallhave8/10letters,theyreall2names,
andthefirstfirstnameendsinn.
Intheendthough,ithardlymatters.Names,andwordsingeneral,arejust
arbitrarylabelsweusetodefinethings,conceptsormeanings.

AtimeIplayedpretendAspecificmomentwasin1stgrade.Atleast,Ithinkit
wasthe1stgrade.
Iusuallyhungoutwithagroupofgirls.Duringrecess/break,wewouldhangout
undertheplayground,whichwaslikeatraditionalplaystructure.Underthere,I
honestlydontrememberwhatweplayed:IjustvaguelyrememberedthatIwas
theringleaderofsorts.RandommemoriesofwhatIplayedincludebeingan
owlbymakingaweirdnoisewithmymouth,beingarobot,andbeinginlove.
Apparently,accordingtoafriendthatwentthere,Ididlikeoneofthegirlsinthat
group,andmadeitobviousthroughpretendsessions.
Theyweremyfriendsfor1stgrade.Butfriendshipsdoeventuallyfallapart,
everygrade.Andtheydid.
