SUBJECT: Letter of Recommendation
RE: Danielle Lincoln
This letter of recommendation is for Danielle Lincoln who I have had the pleasure to have
been an instructor for and worked with for a little more than 9 months at Baker College of
Owosso. I'm an instructor and Danielle has been in a number of my classes.
During my 30-year carrier at General motors, Delphi and now Nexteer Ihave held a
number of supervisory roles including skilled trades, construction and operations. I have also
supervised numinous college co-op students. So, I feel as though I know and understand young
people.
Danielle has been in my classes that included labs where I was able to not only observe her
class room ability but also her work ethic in a real-world environment. In my observations,
Danielle has impressed me with her ability to pay attention to the details. Many times I have
asked Danielle for help with projects and her collaborative efforts have always made the task
much easier with great outcomes. I have observed Danielle as she completed tasks that required
her to interact with people in person as well as over the phone, in each case she seemed at ease.
She isa self-starter, and is always willing to help. I have watched her use her organizational and
interpersonal skills to complete tasks that required her to interact with all levels, from other
students to higher levels of our academic staff, in each case Danielle's ability to be a team player
has proven to result in a positive outcome.
‘One thing that I have observed about Danielle is her ability to learn new things with very
litle training. When she is being taught something new she always takes good notes and refers
back to them when she has questions. Danielle is certainly a good student not only in an academic
setting but also in life. I have watched her apply her skills acquired both from school and life’s
lessons with skill and ease.
Itis my firm belief that whomever Danielle’s employer is after she completes her degree.
They will be getting much more than a recent college graduate, They will be getting a very well
rounded and well equipped worker with passion for getting things done right with attention to
detail. I hope that you consider Danielle for the position for which she is applying. I consider her
to be a valuable part of our team here at Baker and she will be sorely missed when she leaves.
If I can be of any help to you in your consideration of Danielle, please feel free to contact me
at the e-mail or phone number below.
