Learning Goal:
Students will learn basic vocabulary and parameters in music
such as dynamics, piano, forte, crescendo, decrescendo, and
tempi, and their function in shaping moods, emotions and tension
in lm. Then students will be able to use those terms to analyse
and talk about the music of lm clip examples.
Driving Question:
How do dynamics and tempo affect the mood and pacing of the
lm?
Activity Description:
Go through conduction exercises with dynamics and tempo

Projector, laptop with video clips, white board
Differentiation/Accommodations:
Kinesthetic - doing the exercise with their bodies.
Visual - seeing the symbols on the board, seeing conductor move.
Aural- doing sound exercise, listen to examples.
