Sapphire Sage

With humanity's natural inclination to adaptation and expansion, it is nearly impossible to find places in the world that they have not tread. Everywhere they go, humans have encountered myriad creatures, beings, entities,
beasts, and monsters. Despite such diverse adversity, time and time again humans have proven themselves able to overcome dangerous threats with creativity and determination. Sapphire Sages embody the very human
inclination to imitate and adapt, applied to magical discipline. These warrior scholars travel kingdoms far and wide, intentionally seeking danger and bodily harm for their research into the terrible powers employed by the
very creatures and beings that threaten people of every race.

Role: Sapphire Sages are often supporting combatants, their abilities lending them the flexibility to strike at the enemy from near and far.

Alignment: Though the magical disciplines that eventually became the Sapphire Sages were originally created to protect others, it has been many long years since they held any formal organization.
Individuals of any creed may find the Sapphire Sage's path attractive, whether they seek to protect and serve, or accumulate wealth and power.

Class Features .

The following are class features of the Sapphire Sage.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency

A Sapphire Sage is proficient with all simple and martial weapons. A magus is also proficient with light armor. He can utilize all of his Sapphire Sage abilities while wearing light armor without
incurring the normal arcane spell failure chance. Like arcane spellcasters, a Sapphire Sage wearing medium armor, heavy armor, or a shield incurs a chance of arcane spell failure when activating
their abilities. A multiclass Sapphire Sage still incurs the normal arcane spell failure chance for arcane spells received from other classes.
