SOCIO ECONOMIC AND CULTURAL CHARACTERISTICS

Mr. Bruni and Mrs. Ligaya Bruni are married for 3 years already. Mr. Bruni is a company truck driver in New Jersey , USA and married
Mr. Bruni there in his country. Mr. bruni is now working as a laundry shop employee in New Jersey also. Their first daughter, Junalyn is a
business woman; she sells perfumes and health beauty products. She is the one earning a lot among the member of the family earning above
P15,000 a month. Their second child, Ian Wilson was already married and not living with the family. He is working in a bank and earning P15,000
monthly whick is already enough to support his family and also our family expenses.
Mr. Bruni is a college graduate and Mrs. Bruni is a high school graduate. Since the first two children of them was already
working, only two left studying ( Aiko and Niko ) and two grand children, the daughter of junalyn ( Ma. Victoria and Jezreel ).
They are grow up in manila ecept for Mr. Bruni who was originally born in New Jersey. among the member of
the family only Junalyn, Ian and Aiko went to church every Sunday.
Mrs. Bruni is the decision maker of the family while Mr. Bruni helps heer in deciding. They do
help each other all the time and always talk family matters together with the children even they are not with them.
The children and grandchildren often spend time together by playing monopoly, land
games and also some sports like basketball and badminton. They always talk with each other.

III. HOME AND ENVIRONMENT

Their house is made up of wood and concrete. They maintain orderliness and cleanliness inside and outside the house by wiping the
furniture and sweeping the floor everyday. They use fluorescent lamp and bulb for their lighting while electric fun and windows for their
ventilation. They also have electricity but sometimes they experience electric shortage during typhoon. Their house has three (3) room search
rooms contain 1-3 persons. Although their house was only made up of mostly woods, still they maintain the cleanliness by regular cleaning. Their
kitchen also maintains cleanliness and orderliness though they do not have enough storage for pans and casserole. They also store food in the
refrigerator with covers. They have good and clean water supply. They store water in pail and drums with cover because sometimes they
experience water shortage for about twice a week nevertheless, they prefer filtering their water because often times they, suffer diarrhea.
They have their water sealed latrine type of toilet. The water they use for their personal hygiene is stored in a drum or covered
pail. They also have four trashcans, one in the kitchen, one outside the house area and two on the rooms. They dispose their garbage through
collecting and waiting for the garbage collector to collect it.
 They also have pet such as dog.

Their area is surrounded with many houses that causes the sore eyes of Ma. Victoria, because their neighbor have it. But they have a
interaction and relationship with their neighbors.
Their barangay has health center but not functioning so they are usually in other health centers when it comes to health
problems. The family does not have their own facilities in transportation, so they use public vehicle like jeepney, tricycle and motor
for emergency. They also use telephone, cell phone, and computer as a means of communication.
