Phoenix Zoo brings Winter in July

PHOENIX (JUNE 4) July in Phoenix may bring temperatures in the triple digits, but the
forecast indicates July 15 will turn into a winter wonderland at the Phoenix Zoo with its annual

With 35 tons of snow scheduled to arrive via a snowy blizzard every 30 minutes, adults and
kids alike are bound to enjoy cooling off in the middle of the Phoenix summer.

Zoo members and visitors can chill as they take part in activities such as snow targets, squirt
gun targets, dance parties with live music and games from DJ Rockin Rob, as well as a Cool
Zone and chilly creature features! Theres even a toddler snow pile, where our visitors 5 and
under can splash around.

Guests can also visit with APS, Clif Bar and Sagicor Life Insurance Company, who teamed up
to sponsor the event.

Winter in July activities are included in the normal price of admission, which is $19.95 for adults
and $9.95 for guests ages 3-13. Those 2 and younger are free. The Phoenix Zoos summer
