1 December 2015

Dear Alumni,

I bring you warm greetings from TTC and trust that you are well.

The first half of the academic year is over and we look forward to a less hectic pace until the start of the second
semester in January. Once again, let me share with you some updates about your alma mater.

1. We are looking forward to the 27 December when the MRT will commence its service to Upper Bukit Timah
Road. Finally, the road works and traffic congestion will be over and the Hill View station situated at the
entrance to TTC will bring much convenience to commuting students and visitors to our college.

The management of John Wesley Centre will be implementing measures to control parking by unauthorized
persons who may take advantage of free parking. Your cooperation will be much appreciated.

2. Once a year, we hold an Open House in English and Chinese to welcome prospective students to consider
studying at TTC. Next years Open House will be held on Wednesday, 20 January 2016 (8.15am 2pm). Do
assist us with the publicity of the event with this link to the brochure.

3. Our TTC lecturers have many duties within the campus. Beyond the classroom, faculty members also preach
and teach in churches and lecture at outside engagements. To learn more about our lecturers external
ministry-involvement do visit the TTC website under Faculty Ministry.

4. As you may already know, ETHOS is a think-tank of TTC, in partnership with the National Council of
Churches and Bible Society of Singapore. Do visit the ETHOs website which is a great resource for your
ministry. The next ETHOS Institute's Public Lecture is titled: Science and the Christian Faith. Come join
us at the Bible House on Monday, 4 January, 2016 at 8pm 9.30pm.

5. The Association for Theological Education in South East Asia (ATESEA) was established in 1957 in Singapore
and TTC is a founding member. Our college has always been involved in ATESEA and today, we step up our
contribution with the appointment of Dr Simon Chan as the Editor of the Asian Journal of Theology (AJT)
published jointly by ATESEA and the Board of Theological Education of the Senate of Serampore College.

TTC lecturers now participate more actively in accreditation visits to regional seminaries. For example, Dr
Daniel Koh and Dr Edwin Tay were accreditors for Myanmar seminaries recently. Also providing leadership
to ATESEA are Dr Tan Kim Huat (member of the Senate) and the principal (as Chairman of the Board).

Do continue to support TTC with your prayers and thank you for speaking well of our college. May God bless
you in all your endeavours.

Sincerely in Christ,

Ngoei Foong Nghian
