Van den Berk Nurseries specializes in in the cultivation of avenue trees, conifers, topiary trees, rhododen-

drons and specimen trees and shrubs from medium to extra-large sizes. In 75 years, the production has
expanded to nearly 500 hectares on 3 locations: the headquarters in Sint-Oedenrode (NL), a site in Geldern
(DE) and a rhododendron nursery in Rastede (DE). This makes Van den Berk Nurseries one of the largest
tree nurseries in Europe. In January 2009 Van den Berk won the Dutch Horticultural Business Prize and the
Bronze Rose in the international Grower of the Year competition.

The range of 1750 species offers one of the largest choices in avenue trees, in sizes from16-18 till 100+
stem circumference. Shaped and pruned trees are available up to 6m high. The range of conifers and ever-
greens covers 80 varieties, from 1m up to 12m height, and the range of rhododendrons and azaleas covers
over 160 varieties.

Van den Berk Nurseries is a supplier to (local) governments, architects and landscape contractors. The
international sales team, with native speakers in English, French, German, and Russian language, can offer
expert advice on species and their growing conditions. The logistic department of Van den Berk has all the
knowledge of shipping trees and arranges the transport to locations throughout Europe. Trees have been
