ions to synthesize organic compounds
like glucose. all organisms release CO2
as a byproduct of cellular respiration,
and decomposers also release CO2.
Ocean
Carbon dioxide dissolves in the ocean
water creating carbonic acid, that turn
hydrogen ions and bicarbonate ions.
Rocks & Sediment
It takes millions of years for carbon to cycle
through the geological pathway.
Bicarbonate ions form rocks, dead organism
on the ocean floor layer form rocks, pockets
form, & rocks subduct to the surface
through volcanoes, all carbon-containing!
