ARCHIVE FOOTAGE OF LONDON BOMBINGS 07/07

VOICEOVERS overlapping: Reports are just coming in of an

explosion at Liverpool station here in London.

EYE WITNESS: My husband was in there; hes been caught in

the fire and I havent heard from him since.

EYE WITNESS: There was loads of smoke then I heard a

massive bang! It was terrifying.

NEWS REPORTERS: There have been reportedly 45 injuries

and 15 deaths, one of whom was pregnant; many citizens
are yet to be identified.

TITLE: 2 HOURS EARLIER

INT: OLVIAS BEDROOM

The scene begins with OLIVIA WILSTONE packing her bag.

She is very distressed and forces her clothes into her
duffel bag, whilst her boyfriend, KYLE LANG is asleep in
her bed. She is dressed in an oversized black jumper and
blue jeans. Her hair is scruffy exemplifying her
distress. After packing all of her belongings she
approaches the bed and places a handwritten note onto the
pillow beside KYLE. OLIVIA stares at him lovingly then
deeply sighs and leaves the room swiftly.

EXT: BUS STOP

OLIVIA is seen to be getting onto a bus. She takes a seat

on the upper deck and pulls out her phone. Her eyes meet
a picture of herself and KYLE as her wallpaper. OLIVIA
smiles and giggles to herself. However, her smile quickly
turns into a frown and she stares out of the window with
a conflicted expression on her face.

FLASHBACK

INT: OLIVIAS LIVING ROOM

KYLE AND OLIVIA are sitting on the sofa, watching TV.

KYLES arm is around OLIVIA and her head is resting on
his shoulder.

 OLIVIA
Ok Kyle, dont laugh

KYLE
(Chuckling) Dont laugh at what?

OLIVIA

No, youre gonna laugh at me! Never mind. (she laughs at

herself and puts her head down in embarrassment)

OLIVIA continues watching the TV. KYLE rolls his eyes,

and then playful begins to tickle OLIVIA.

KYLE
(In a playful tone) Come on Liv, just tell me.

KYLE sits up with a forced straight face, trying not to

laugh.

I promise I wont laugh.

INT: THE BUS

OLIVIA continues to stare out of the window in deep
thought.

FLASHBACK

OLIVIA Inhales deeply, with a small smirk on her face.

KYLE remains, forcing a straight face and playfully winks
at her, making OLIVIA erupt into laughter.

OLIVIA
Ok, here it goes. What do you think about having our own
little family?

KYLE remains silent.

(Hesitantly) Ive been thinking about it recently, and I

think we are so ready babe!

KYLE sighs unenthusiastically and leans back into the

sofa.

KYLE
LIV Listen-

 OLIVIA
(Grabbing onto his arm eagerly)
Just imagine for like two seconds! I mean-

KYLE
Liv, Im just not about that right now.

OLIVIA
(Laughs awkwardly, nodding her head)

Oh yeah I totally agree, were just not ready.

KYLE
Lets just take things as they come. Besides (chuckles)
you and me aint really parent material babe.

KYLE kisses her forehead then exits the room. OLIVIA

slouches back into the chair and puts her head down in
disappointment

INT: OLIVIAS ROOM

KYLE wakes up and stretches. He looks around the room,

when his eyes meet the note OLIVIA left for him. He reads
the message and becomes extremely angry. He scrunches up
the note and violently throws it on the floor. KYLE then
picks up his phone and calls OLIVIAS phone, in the hopes
that he can change her mind. When Olivia doesnt answer,
KYLE goes into the bathroom, contemplating his next move.
He rinses his hands under the tap and washes his face.
When he raises his head, his eyes meet a positive
pregnancy test on the window sill of the bathroom. KYLE
then picks it up slowly; his hand shaking uncontrollably.
He then drops the test and holds his head in a shocked
state. Panicking, he grabs his phone and starts to dial
OLIVIAS number again. He runs down the stairs and exits
the house.

EXT: THE STREET

KYLE is seen running frantically to the nearest bus stop.

As KYLE is running, there is a faded shot of OLIVIA on
her journey also.

Voice over:

 OLIVIA
Sorry I cant get to the phone right now, leave me a
message! (Repeats and speeds up 4x)

CUT TO:
KYLE is on the bus. He is extremely jittery and is
gripping his phone with force.

CUT TO:

OLIVIA is still on the bus. She is looking at her phone

and smiling down at the picture of herself and KYLE. The
bus is stationary at this point, so she quickly jumps off
of it. She rings KYLE but there is no answer. She leave
shim a message.

OLIVIA
I am so sorry I left. I need to tell you something
important KYLE Im pregnant. But I know we can do this I
am coming back home. I love you

CUT TO:
KYLE is seen to have exited the bus. He begins to run in
order to catch up with OLIVIAS BUS. When he reaches the
station she is nowhere to be seen. He looks around and
sees a bus gong in the opposite direction, with OLIVIA on
it. He shouts her name, then suddenly his eyes go
extremely big and he shouts.

KYLE
OLIV-

KYLE gasps and his eyes are frantic.
