MISE EN SCENE IS AN EXTREMELY
IMPORTANT FACTOR WHEN FILMING.
THIS ISEN

PRODUCTION, WE USED A RANGE OF
RESOURCES TO MAKE THE ACTION
MORE BELIEVABLE AND REAL. FOR
EXAMPLE, WE INCORPORATED FAKE
BLOOD INTO OUR PIECE. WE MADE
THIS BLOOD BY MIXING RED FOOD
COLOURING AND CLEAR WASHING UP
LIQUID. WE BELIEVE FAKE BLOOD
WAS A FUNDAMENTAL FACTOR IN THE
FILMING PROCESS, BECAUSE IT
ADDED TO THE GORE FACTOR OF
CINEMATOGRAPHY IS A CRUCIAL FACTOR
OF FILMING. THIS IS BECAUSE A RANGE OF
CINEMATOGRAPHY
DIFFERENT SHOTS HAVE TO BE EXECUTED
TO PERFECTION, ENSURING THEY ARE IN
FOCUS AND PROFESSIONALLY CARRIED
OUT, IN ORDER TO EXEMPLIFY AN
EFFECTIVE PIECE. WHEN FILMING WE USED
AS MANY SHOTS AS POSSIBLE FOR

IMPLEMENT EVERY SINGLE SHOT WE TOOK.
FOR EXAMPLE, WE TOOK AN ESTABLISHING
SHOT OF THE SHED, HOWEVER, BECAUSE
THERE WAS SO MUCH ACTION IN OTHER
SHOTS WE TOOK, WE FELT THE
RANGE OF ASPECTS TO AID THE
EDITING
FLOW OF THE PRODUCTION.
WHEN EDITING, THE EDITOR
FOUND IT HARD TO MAKE THE
TRANSITIONS FROM ONE SHOT
TO ANOTHER SMOOTH. THIS IS
BECAUSE THE SHOTS SHOULD
ONLY BE PRESENT FOR 3
SECONDS AT MOST, THEREFORE
SHE FOUND THAT WHEN SHE
COMPLETED THE EDITING, THE
DIFFERENT SHOTS DIDNT FLOW
SMOOTHLY. AS WELL AS THIS,
WE DIDNT KNOW HOW TO
TRANSITION FROM THE SHED
SCENE TO THE FOREST SCENE,
THEREFORE WE SIMPLY USED
MATCH N ACTION, SO AS SOON
AS THE DOOR OF THE SHED
FILMING, BECAUSE IT SETS AN
ATMOSPHERE
SOUND AND MOOD. WHEN
CHOOSING OUR SOUND FOR THE
PRODUCTION, WE WANTED CERTAIN
PARTS OF THE MUSIC TO KINK WITH
THE ACTION, FOR AN EFFECTIVE
EXPERIENCE. FOR EXAMPLE WHEN
EMILY IS KICKING THE DOOR OF THE
SHED, THERE IS AN ELEMENT OF
TENSION BECAUSE SHE DOESNT KICK
IT OPEN THE FIRST ATTEMPT. THE
MUSIC PARALLELS THIS BY BEING
QUIET ON THE FIRST KICK. ON THE
SECOND KICK, THERE IS HARSH
SOUND WHICH REMAINS CONSISTENT
U NIL SHE KICKS THE DOOR DOWN,
WHICH IS IMPLEMENTED BY A SOFTER
SOUND. LINKING THE MUSIC WITH THE
ACTION WAS EFFECTIVE, BECAUSE IT
