Basic Facts
A Snow Leopard is an animal that is basically a
big cat in the cat kingdom with black and white
fur. They like to live in the cold. Their fur is so
thick, that it keeps them very warm in the cold
habitat that Snow Leopards live in.

Location
Found:
Snow Leopards
are most
commonly found in
high mountains in Central Asia. They are also
found in other places like Russia, India and
Afghanistan. They usually live in snowy mountains
from 3000 metres high, to mountains 5200 metres
high.

Population
Snow Leopards are a very endangered species.
There are only about 3500 to 7500 Snow
Leopards left in the world with 600-700 in zoos.
Snow Leopards are endangered because people use
