MTC Usher Program Application Form

MTC Usher Training Program is a one-year program that offers:

opportunities to see and learn about the culture and inner-workings of live theater and cinema Job
training and workshops building essential and transferable skills
An opportunity to be a part of a supportive team of young adults
Hands-on work with kids and families in a friendly, fast-paced environment

Working at MTC
During September training and orientation sessions (TBD), ushers will learn about the job responsibilities
and the theater's daily operations. Our season schedules include day, evening, and weekend shifts, along
with one mandatory training workshop per week (TBD). Ushers are required to work a three-shift
minimum each week. Ushers are eligible for pay increases after the successful completion of each program
year.

Learning at MTC
In addition to fulfilling their job responsibilities, ushers attend job training career and life-skills workshops
held once per week throughout the season. These workshops are dedicated to enhancing personal and
professional skills. Some of the workshops include: Goal Setting, Resume and Cover Letter Writing,
Conflict Management and Resolution, Time Management, and Public Speaking and Customer Service
Skills.
