Lesson Plan Title: Homeschooling

Concept/Topic to Teach: Educate the class on what homeschooling is and its benefits and

disadvantages

General Goal(s): To have the class learn the general concepts of why people do homeschooling

and the effects of it.

Required Materials: Microsoft PowerPoint, YouTube video, & College@Home graph

Step-By-Step Procedures:

- STEP 1: Open with a question asking if anyone knows what homeschooling is and ask

for opinions on the topic

- STEP 2: Go into PowerPoint presentation

- STEP 3: Watch YouTube video on homeschooling

- STEP 4: Go over graph of homeschooling VS public schooling

- STEP 5: Close with what they feel they will do with their future children
