GET OUTDOORS

The essence
NATURE
IS NOT A PLACE TO VISIT.
IT IS HOME.

Experiencing the outdoors builds awareness,-

sensitivity, determination and self-efficacy. All
five senses are focussed on transitioning to
more appropriate observation, action, reflec-
tion and application leading to more impactful
experiences. Spending time in nature is a great
way to find physical rejuvenation. Taking a break
from the mundane to engage with nature can
bring big positive effects for our mental stamina
and cognitive performance.

More time in nature has been directly linked with

reduction of stress and also offers a cascade of
other benefits, including faster physical recov-
ery, lower heart rate, heightened immunity and
less need for pain medication. When it comes to
alleviating stress, theres just something about
being in nature thats hard to beat.
THE ADVENTURE
QUOTIENT

IFIT ITDOESNT
DOESNT CHALLENGE YOU,
CHANGE YOU.

The incorporation of adventure in outdoor pursuits helps

you discover and enhance your adaptive capacity. Adap-
tive Capacity is the ability of an individual to adapt in
changing environments, which is very crucial in this day
and age. The program is based on principles of Full Value
Contract, Challenge by Choice and Experiential Learning
Cycle developed by Project Adventure.

In his book, Adventure Therapy, Michael A. Gass states

that the experiential process of the family causes them
to display their structure, work on negative and positive
behavior patterns, rules of interaction, and develop suc-
cessful methods of communication while accomplishing
adventure-based tasks. In simple terms, this means that
families and individuals can explore their behaviour to-
wards one another and find a connect between physical
and mental wellbeing.

FORT HIKE RAPPELLING BOULDERING SPORTS CAVING BUSHCRAFT

khilla ghanpur
Killa Ghanpur is a hill fort in the Nallamala range built by the Kakatiya
King Gona Ganapa Reddy in A.D. 1224. King Gona Ganapa Reddy is the
son of the famous Ranganatha Ramayana writer Sri Gona Budda Reddy.
The name of Ghanapuram Khilla came into existence from the name
of Kakatiya ruler Sri Ganapathi Deva. People believe that there are two
secret tunnels inside the fort. One is connected to the village at the
bottom of the hill and the other is connected to the Panagal Fort.
The fort also has two lakes which the locals call Mabbu Cheruvu (Lake
amongst clouds)
Bushcraft
Bushcraft can quite simply be explained as the skills needed to enable
you to survive, live and thrive in a wilderness environment generally
without any outside amenities.
However, bushcraft is not simply all about survival in the wilderness
it goes far beyond that. It is all about creating sustainability and being
able to live comfortably using a more indigenous human approach.
The food
Nutrition forms the core of our
existence. A carefully crafted menu
is a representation of the diverse
cultures and traditions from across
the Indian Subcontinent. Food
is prepared from whole grains,
millets and vegetables which are
mostly procured locally. Our focus
is to maintain a balanced menu
that appeals to different palates.
The Golden Boulder
The Golden Boulder campus offers a vibrant opportunity to explore several outdoor elements. This 60 acre campus
is skirted by farms, nature trails, Khilla Ghanpur (a 13th Century Fort), and is in close proximity to the Nallamala
forest, Koilsagar Dam and Koilkonda Fort.

It provides an ideal habitat to explore our reciprocal relationship with Nature, participate in outdoor adventure
sports and a host of other inquisitive learning activities. This environment equips participants to think out of the
box and push their boundaries in an attempt to realize the full creative power & potential within.
