PROF. MICHAEL ANTHONY C. VASCO, Ph.D.

Dean, Faculty of Arts and Letters

University of Santo Tomas

Dear DEAN VASCO:

Greetings in the name of St. Thomas Aquinas!

The UST Chorus of Arts and Letters, recognized by the Office for Student Affairs, has
been an asset to the Faculty for years now. It has consistently brought pride to the
Faculty by affirming its position as one of the prestigious choirs in the University by
consistently placing in the annual inter-collegiate chorale competition, Himig
Tomasino, and by being the Champion of the said competition last May.

Aside from the organizations officers, an adviser plays a key role in the attainment of
goals and execution of an organizations mission, which are both, cognizant in the
statutes of the University. In line with this, the UST Chorus of Arts and Letters humbly
proposes Mrs. Anna Cielo Timbol-Perez to be our organizations adviser. The
organization has confidence that it will continually exemplify excellence with the
aforementioned faculty member.

This letter will serve as one of the requirements needed by the Office for Student Affairs
for the Petition for Recognition of this organization for the academic year 2017-2018.

We are hoping that your good office will grant the aforesaid request. Thank you and
God bless!
