A BAD EXPERIENCE

My names John. One day last spring my friend, Anne, and I decided to go walking in the
mountains. When we left home, the sun was shining and the sky was blue. We walked for
about an hour and then we decided to climb one of the mountains. After half an hour, I
stopped and looked up at the sky. There were black clouds and then it started to rain very
hard. Then lightning struck and we decided to escape from the storm. We were climbing down
the mountain when a rock fell on my head. I fell down and I couldnt move. Anne couldnt lift
me and so she called the rescue team on her mobile phone. We waited in the storm and then a
helicopter arrived. The rescue team lifted me onto a special bed and then into the helicopter.
They flew me to a hospital in the next town. I didnt feel well and I was frightened, but I
survived the accident. After a week in hospital, I went home. I still go walking now but I always
check the weather before I leave.
