coating and lining. The environment shall be considered a Coastal Environment. The
optimum life of a painting/coating system will be considered the time until first
maintenance coating and lining/touchup should occur, when 3 percent to 5 percent
breakdown of the topcoats occurs, before active rusting begins. Surfaces which will
be
inaccessible after assembly shall be protected for the life of the equipment.
