Pittsburgh Magazines Best of the Burgh to Celebrate Winners of Annual Readers Poll

July 10, 2017 (Pittsburgh, PA) Pittsburgh Magazines annual Best of the Burgh party re-
turns to Stage AE on July 20, 2017 from 7:00PM-9:30PM. The event will feature over 50 win-
ners who will be sampling, entertaining, and meeting and greeting the expected crowd of over
500 revelers. The Best of the Burgh party is a 21+-ticketed event. Tickets are available in ad-
vance for $35. Best of the Burgh is presented by PNC Bank and benefits the Best of the Batch
Foundation.

Each year, the winners continue to outdo themselves to the delight of our guests. says Pitts-
burgh Magazine Editor in Chief, Betsy Benson. I think thats what makes this event so spe-
cial and so popular with Pittsburghers- it really is the best of the best and gives you an oppor-
tunity to meet these business owners and local celebs, while sampling the best food and drink in
the city, under the same roof for one spectacular night!

The Best of the Burgh Readers Poll takes place each year and has become a symbol of great
achievement and prestige for local businesses, personalities, and artists in Pittsburgh. Readers
cast their votes for their favorites in over 100 categories and a third-party law firm tallies votes.
The Pittsburgh Magazine Editorial Staff also bestows the same honors on their Editorial Picks,
shedding the spotlight on some truly newsworthy and unique businesses and individuals.

This years Best of the Burgh party boasts over 50 winners who will be on-site, from food and
beverage categories to local entertainment, activities, and attractions. Guests can sample a cus-
tom flavor from Sticklers popsicles, get the scoop on Millies Homemade Ice Cream, learn all
about foraging from the Western PA Mushroom Club, discover a pet-lovers paradise with
Pittsburghs first cat caf, Colony Caf.

Locavores and foodies can look forward to grabbing a nationally recognized burger from Burga-
tory fresh off the grill, wash it down with a soda from Natrona Bottling Company or fresh juice
from Salud Juicery, and end the night with something sweet by picking up a Smiley Cookie
from Eat N Park.

The WDVE Morning Show will be on-site to host the best in Pittsburgh entertainment including
some big laughs from the Arcade Comedy Theater, balloon twisters from Airheads Balloon
Art, and live ice sculpture by Ice Creations. Guests can groove their way from winner to winner
with music from DJs provided by Red Bull.
