Authorization error reporting

What the Authorizations team needs for every Authorization issues


are the following:

1. User name that is experiencing the error.


2. Transaction where error occurred.
3. Screen shot of the entire screen showing the authorization error (this is the
last authorization check performed, and will help us diagnose the error)
4. Screen shot of the entire screen showing the /nSU53 information.

All of this information can be put into a single Word document and attached it to
the Service now Incident.

SU53 instructions
If you receive an authorization error, you should immediately do the following:

(IF A POP-UP BOX APPEARED, DO NOT CLOSE IT. AND DO NOT LEAVE THE
CURRENT TRANSACTION YOU ARE IN)

In the top Left side of the screen, click the small icon and then click Create
Session

Step 1. In the command field of the new session, type

type "/nsu53" into the command line of SAP.


Step 2. In the line(s) under "Authorization check failed" click on the expand arrow

to show this

Step 3. Using Snagit or the "Alt Print Scrn" command Copy this page and place in
an email.
