For today lab work today, our group help to distribute the workload by sharing duties.
This is done through division, we divide our work like 3 people will be in charge of
measuring the specific amounts of reactants that we need which is Acetone, Iodine, HCl
and Water, so that when it is time to measure the time taken for each reaction to occur,
we would not need to scramble to prepare all the reactants once again. For example
some of us were unsure what reagent to put in first. Hence, we will discuss which one
another and also come to an agreement of which reagent to put in first. So after we
completed the measurements, in turns of 2 will each have a turn to help measure pour
the Ketone into the mixture and put it onto the hot plate stirrer and another would time
using a stop watch how long it takes for the mixture to turn colour and the others would
then record their results on the computer when they are done. In conclusion, chemistry
lab was not that bad and I hope there would be somemore lab sessions.
