How to change COM Port

To change the assigned COM Port please follow the next steps:

1. Start the Device Manager (right mouseclick on My Computer, then left mouseclick on
Properties, in System Properties click on Hardware and than Device Manager). Please
check if the connection is established by connecting and disconnecting the USB cable. As
you connect the USB cable to the PC you should see it appearing as USB Serial Port with
the assigned COM Port in the Device Manager (as shown in picture below).

If the assigned COM Port is 1 to 6, the RMOWin / DV-Win software should be able to
establish the connection with the device. Otherwise, if the assigned COM Port is above 6 it is
neccesary to change it to one of the COM Ports between 1 and 6.

To do that please follow the steps below:

- right mouseclick on USB Serial Port (COMXX), then choose Properties
- in the Properties window click on Port Settings and then on Advanced
Choose Com Port Number between 1 and 6 and click on OK button (if a Windows dialog
box appears with the message the chosen COM Port is used, try with next COM Port or just
ignore this message by clicking the OK button)
