the BPC Tab, then Asset Capitalization, and select Create Capital Journal.

format.

(For capital journals, a debit entry and a credit entry is required. Hence, two entries in the
multiline should exist.)

Asset No. field and indicate the Tag No. This is for both Credit and Debit entries.

(DR) entry. Input the corresponding amount and search for the Proposal No. Input amount
should not be greater than the amount stipulated in the Proposal No.
e. Search for the account code 638000 Repairs and Maintenance for the credit (CR) entry.
Input the corresponding amount and search for the Cost center code which is similar to the
asset code. Input amount should not be greater than the amount stipulated in the Proposal
No.
f. Click Compute Total, then Create Capital Journal.
g. Once done, input entries will be saved in the system for approval by the Plant Division
Accounting Head.
