His gran used to be a cleaner in a hotel near the port. Once, an American asked her to look after a
beautiful gold pendant while he went to Bogota on business. However, this man never returned and his
gran never revealed to her daughter what happened to the pendant. He went to his bedroom and out of
his drawer he got out the gold pendant the American had given his grandma.

His grandma had given it to him a bit before she died. She told him to keep it a secret or else something
bad would happen and that one day it will ask him to help it to go home.

He soon fell asleep. He dreamt of being in Mr.Parras class, seeing the yellow bird and following it to the
Sierra Nevada mountains and the jungle with Eva. They reached a circle of yellow grass and in the centre
there was a golden jaguar covered with black spots. It tried to catch the bird but didnt manage. Then
black spots appeared on the grass.
