LALIT P&A Division (Travel & Protocol Section) No. RITES/Trv1./Air-bookings!2017 Dated: 20% July, 2017 CIRCULAR Sub: Bookings / Cancellations for journey by Train / Air. {n continuation to this office Circular of even No. dated 17 November, 2016, itis informed that with the implementation of GST by Govemment of India, a new Requisition Form for Train / Air journey is enclosed for compliance of officers going on official duty. Other instructions as per previous circular are summarised as below. 1, Requisition for Train / Air journey, should be sent using the New Requisition Form only indicating the Registered GST details ofthe office concemed 2. It should be signed by the officer going on duty and countersigned by the officer not below the rank of SBU Head (with name and designation), 3. Project Code under which the employee has been booked is to be specifically mentioned in the Requisition Form, 4 No Requisition on telephone shall be entertained except in case of emergency (i.e. where the employee is on duty outstation). However, even in such cases written requisition should be submitted by the employee concerned on joining Headquarters 5. Except under emergent situations, booking request should be sent well in advance so that dynamic rate in air ticketing is avoided as far as possible 8. The booking requisition for foreign clients as well as RITES officers (going on foreign visit) Should mandatory accompany a copy of passport ofthe officer intending to undertake journey, failing which ticketing would not be done. AIISBU Heads are again requested to instruct the officers working under them to scrupulously follow the Practice of sending Train / Air booking requisitions in the New Requisition Form in the prescribed format (enclosed overteaf) with all relevant details and approval of competent authority.
