Dear Andy,
Hello from not-so-sunny Cornwall! I have finally been finding have finally found an internet
cafe and thought Id write to you to escape from the weather. Its rained for days it hasnt
been stopping once. As you can probably imagine, this isnt much fun if youre camping; I
havent been sleeping very well and I ache all over. Anyway, enough of my moaning. One good
thing is that the kids havent really noticed the weather theyre having a great time. Theyve
played on the beach every day and have made lots of new friends. The dog doesnt seem to
mind too much either, just as long as he gets his walks in the pouring rain! We have done a
few things to escape from the weather though; weve already been visiting the local museum

In the art world, things are not always as they seem; some paintings are made with
deliberate intent to trick or us out of our money. These works, known as *, have been
falsely presented as the product of another artist. You would think that its only
members of the public who have been into buying a painting, but an exhibition at the
National Gallery reveals that not even the experts can the difference between a work

When a portrait group was bought by the National Gallery in 1923, it was identified as a

Although scientific investigation has revealed the methods used to manufacture the
