Reflection

For the PISMP Semester 2, we need to complete an assignment for the

English Language Proficiency ll (WAJ3031). For this task, we need to collect 3
articles on report writing. Then, we were asked to design graphic organizer based on
those article. Lastly, we need to write a report on a programme or an event that was
held at our campus.

When Madam Ranjini has been given this task, unexpectedly, I have a good
feeling about it. It is because I have actually enjoyed English so far this year. Yes, it
is undeniable that this assignment is challenging but fortunately I am already had the
experience in doing English assignment during the last 4 semester. I am no more
confused on what should I do to accomplish this task. I started to search any
resources to complete this assignment. Then I share the information that I found with
my friends so that we can find out the correct information that can be used in this
assignment. Madam Ranjini helps us a lot during finishing this assignment. She
guides us to make a nice graphic organizer and gives some useful advices about our
assignment and the chosen articles. She also lent her hand to help us all the time we
go to discuss about the task given.

This assignment awakes me that in our life there are a lot of challenges and
problems that we must face off. I realize that we need to sacrifice to done any work.
This assignment also teach me that the important of the time managing. The biggest
problem that I faced along the process of completing this task is lack of time as we
still have a lot of assignments need to complete it within 4 weeks. So, I try my best to
manage my time wisely, discussing together with friends and combined our useful
information. Fortunately, this assignment can be accomplished in a short period of
the time given.

In my opinion, the task that has been given by our lecturer can help us in the
whole life and improved our knowledge about English language. As an example,
before I have done this assignment, I was confused with the format of reports and
how to write an effective report. But, at the end of this assignment, I had more
understanding on these topics. I also found that I have been gain a lot of knowledge
about writing event report and making a graphic organizer.

Moreover, I also found out that making a graphic organizer is the best way to
manage our ideas and make us more understanding about the information given. By
making a graphic organizer, we can do a result neatly without much hassle. Graphic
organizer of course is the best method, and it is suitable way for presenting a result.

As conclusion, after finishing completing the survey report, I found that it was
not only improved my English language proficiency but also helping me to become a
responsible and successful teacher in future life. Thanks for giving me the chances
to complete this assignment. I appreciate it very much.
