    Grand Island, NE, August 4th, 2017 The Grand Island Professional Fireghters are doing everything we
    can to stop a reduc on in force. This includes working with the Mayor on his proposal of a wage freeze.
    A ached you will nd the le er from the Mayor spelling out the proposal, and also our response to
    Mayor Jensen.

    The deadline for responding is not un l August 4th, so the other unions may not respond as soon as we
    did.

    As always, our number one concern is the safety of the public, and doing everything that we can to stop
    the City of Grand Island from losing reghters.
