Series RL Circuit

CONCLUSION:
Therefore, in case of pure resistive circuit, the phase angle between voltage and current is zero and in case
of pure inductive circuit, phase angle is 90 but when we combine both resistance and inductor, the phase
angle of a series RL circuit is between 0 to 90. We learned that in series RL circuit, the values of
frequency f, voltage V, resistance R and Inductance L are known and there is no instrument for directly
measuring the value of inductive reactance and impedance. Also, when an AC supply voltage V is applied
the current, I flows in the circuit.

Series RC Circuit
CONCLUSION:
Therefore, we conclude that the value of phase angle between V R and VC are depends on the value of the
capacitor. If the value of the capacitor is high, then the values V R will be smaller than the VC and if the value
of the capacitor is low, then the value of V R is bigger than the VC. The reason this happen because the large
amount of capacitor will be difficult to charging energy than low amount capacitor which is simple charging
energy.
