I Course Description

This course is designed for students to explore dynamic themes pertaining to what it
means to actually be a worshipper, not from a musical perspective as other courses in the
worship major already cover this area, but from a theological, psychological, cultural,
interpersonal and personal perspective. A worshippers life encompasses more, indeed
much more than the few minutes of being on a stage leading a congregation. It is this
surrendered, sacrificial and selfless path and journey, with all its challenges and benefits
in a worshippers life, which will be explored. The course is timely, insightful and
relevant for not only worship leaders and those who are involved in worship ministry, but
equally for any person who considers him or herself a worshipper/ lover of God.

II Course Outline
By the completion of this course each student should have a meaningful understanding of
biblical worship as revealed by God and exemplified through the life of a few biblical
characters both in the Old and New Testament. Each student should also possess a deeper
appreciation for the call to be a worshipper and what it takes to be equipped and mature
in worship. A revelation of worship will definitely purify and deepen our love for God.

This course will explore and cover these themes:
