The Shooting competition 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Trap
The Shooting competition at the Baku 2015 European Games will be held from 16 (RFP) (TR75)
June to 22 June 2015 at the Baku Shooting Centre in Baku. The competition will 50m Pistol Skeet
consist of 19 medal events, summarised below: (FP) (SK75)

A total of 330 athletes, including 210 men and 120 women, may take part in the
Shooting competition.

The rules
The Shooting competition will be held in accordance with the editions of the
following documents that are in force at the time of the Games:

Scoring
In qualification for the rifle events, the centre of the target will be worth a
maximum 10. For air rifle and 50m prone the target will be 10.9. In the finals, the 10
rings will be subdivided into 10 decimal score zones from 10.0 up to a maximum

10.9. In each event, the score from the final will not be added to the qualification International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Official Statutes: Rules and

Mens Trap 6 competitors, The technical meeting will be conducted by both Technical Delegates and

The venue
Mixed teams Skeet
The Baku Shooting Centre is a brand-new purpose built shooting facility for the
3 teams,
2 rounds x 25 targets Baku 2015 European Games, and will form part of the lasting legacy left by Baku
(SK50) 16 targets, 2 medal matches
2015. This new facility is due for completion in December 2014.

The draw for all events will be conducted at 12:00 on 14 June 2015 at the Baku
Shooting Centre. All team managers are eligible to attend. The draw will be Five shotgun ranges, including a finals range

Facilities Training
The following facilities will be available at the competition venue:
Training for the Shooting competition will take place at the Baku Shooting

Transport
The approximate travel time from the Athletes Village to the Baku Shooting
Centre is 19 minutes. All travel times are subject to being refined in tandem with
the road infrastructure delivery.

Weather
Due to its location on the southwest Absheron Peninsula, Baku is characterised
by its warm temperatures and strong winds all year long, and summers are
usually hot and dry. Based on statistics from recent years, the mean temperature
is approximately 23C (73F) in June with around 15 hours of daylight. In June, the
prevailing wind direction is from the north, with a mean wind speed of 6.5 m/s.

Qualification and entry


All information on qualification and entries for Shooting can be found in the
Shooting qualification system, distributed by BEGOC. NOCs should check online
for regular updates to the qualification criteria, which will be made available to all
NOCs on the e-Qzet (the NOC Extranet).
