The document describes the author's enjoyable conversations with his son that include playful insults, similar to how JLR DevBagh felt after a trip to a beautiful private beach in India. The beach had white sands, cottages, and activities like running on the beach, jungle walks, delicious breakfasts including masala omelettes and dosas, swimming in the water, soaking in the sun while drinking beer, jetski rides, sunset barbecues, and bonfires. However, like the conversations with his son, the trip had a "burning" consequence as the author returned badly sunburnt after spending hours on the beach unprotected from the sun.

almost-teenaged son, the TV / Movie watching that we do together, are heavily interspersed with quick wit statements and harmless insults. Such intersperses usually end with my son shouting out oh Burn, with a colloquial hand signal. The conversations are so enjoyable, that I eagerly look forward to getting back home every evening to them.
That is how JLR DevBagh felt,
in the literal sense! Awesome (evoking the feeling of just being there endlessly, soaking in the sun & the sea, plus the awesome food) and at the same time punishing, especially with the lack of sun screen lotion.

Dosae, Akki Rotti, and the works), and being in the water or on the sands, soaking the sun, with lots of BEER! Heaven!
You also get to experience
the jetski rides on sufficiently choppy waters to provide the thrills. Not to mention the sunset barbecue by the beach and the bonfire.
