Who were involved and why?

The people that were involved was Bosnian Muslims , Bosnian Serbs, the Serb-dominated
army, Montenegro, and Macedonia. The reason why they got into 3 year war was because of
Serbians wanting to get rid of all Muslims and they wanted to take control of the country and
have it as their own.
Where did the conflict occur?

The conflict occur in the whole country but it all started in the Bosnias capital city Sarajevo.
But it started in small towns before a few months before its major attack in Sarajevo.
What is the history of the conflict?

The history of the conflict was that the Serbs wanted to annex the Bosnian territory and turn it
into their own territory. There were other factors like the tension between ethnicity too.
Were there victims?

There was about 100 thousand victims total at the end of the war that had died. There were
children and teens getting killed. There were women being put on buses to sent and get raped
or murdered.
Why did the conflict occur?

The conflict occur because the Serbs wanted to take over Bosnia and have Bosnia a part of
their country.
When did the conflict occur?

The conflict occur when Bosnia declared its independence from Yugoslavia. The war also
happened when the Bosnian Serbs started a bombardment on the Bosnian capital city Sarajevo.
Then the war official started on April 6, 1992.

United?

One of the soccer players from the story was from Bosnia. His name was Eldin Subasic.
How did the story influence you?

This story influenced me because Im from Bosnia and so are my parents. It influenced me
because my parents were doing things in Bosnia when the war started. My mom even told me
that she had to move from a cities just because there was shootings going on. She even told
when she was a different part of town she could still he gunshots firing off. It also influenced
me by making me realize even more that the world is not perfect and neither am I. That's why
the story influenced me.
