Example of desktop, the _AMS folder is important so don't delete it!

 Windows XP Search 4.0

Windows XP Search 4.0 is located on the right side of the taskbar.

1. After install you must click on the search icon (magnifier icon) in taskbar and select
Index Now, wait for few minutes to index the contents of AMS.
2. Click on Windows Search Options

3. After that the Indexing Options window opens, click on Modify.

4. The Indexed Locations window opens. By default, Microsoft Outlook Express
and folder Documents and Settings are selected.
5. You must UNSELECT the Microsoft Outlook Express and folder Documents
and Settings.
6. Expand the C:\ Documents and Settings \ All Users \ Desktop and select
_AMS folder. Then click OK.
 How to search the AMS

You enter the search term

and the Windows Search window opens with search results. On the left side is the list of
documents containing the search term. On the right side is the preview of the file.
