comments on performance techniques

violin
square notes are to be played with a very 'noisy',
brushing sound quality.
there will always be a small amount of pitch
left, but emphasize the brushing sound
quality of the bristly bow rubbing the string
putting these caracterisitcs of the sound forward.
to help controlling the string one can put one or two
fingers behind the 'pitch' finger to damp the string,
controlling the harmonics.
left hand uses half pressure.
the part is to played entirely on the e-string (I).
use a lot of resin and it is preferable to use a

60+ grams bow.

the bow position is notated on a separate system
