Chopped Strand Mat 450

Application
M2003 E-glass chopped strand mat is made of randomly oriented chopped strands
bonded together with highly soluble polyester powder. Its designed for hand lay-up
contact molding and other low pressure process. M2003 provides excellent fiber
distribution and weight uniformity, good dry and wet handing property.
M2003 mat is compatible with polyester and vinyl ester, has a good water and
chemical agents resistance in corrosion applications.

Properties
1. Soft to hand with good mold conformance, minimum loose fiber.
2. Medium mat bulk with good resin absorption.
3. Excellent impregation, good air release.
4. High degree clarity of the laminate.
5. Silane coupling agent.
