Prerequisites: EE-102, Electric Circuits

Program Learning Outcomes:


The course contents have been designed to achieve following PLOs:
PLO1: Engineering Knowledge: An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering
fundamentals and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
PLO5: Modern Tool Usage: The ability to create, select and apply appropriate techniques, resources
and modern engineering and IT tools, including prediction and modeling, to complex engineering
activities, with an understanding of the limitations.

Course Learning Outcomes (CLO):


CLO1: To solve RC and RL circuits in time domain to find their response. (Cognitive, C3).
CLO2: Solve RLC circuit in time domain and also develop Phase relationship between voltage across and
current through R, L and C. (Cognitive, C3).
CLO3: Solve RL, RC and RLC circuits in time domain using Phasor concepts. (Cognitive, C3).
CLO4: Ability to conduct experiments related to RLC circuits and measure voltages and currents.
(Psychomotor, P3).
CLO5: Demonstrating the response of RLC circuits through simulation using P-Spice software.
(Psychomotor, P3).

Office Hours:
Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Class Attendance: Minimum 75% class attendance is mandatory to appear in the examinations.

Lab. Experiments -25%
Quizzes -20%
Two Sessionals -20%
Final Exam- 35%
