Mariana Pajn Londoo was borned in Medellin, Colombia in October the 10th, 1991. She

learned to ride a bike when she was 3 years old, on year later she started professional

training, and got her first competition. She was a very talented biker when she was a kid.

That help her to win popularity in the BMX world. She is recognized for being number one

in the UCI world ranking. Moreover, she was Gold Medalist at the Rio 2016 Olympic

Games and London 2012 Olympic Games, being the only Colombian athlete to win an

Olympic two-time title. Mariana is the first Latin American woman in getting two Olympic

golds in an individual sport. In 2016, the city of Medellin inaugurated with its name the

BMX Supercross Track Mariana Pajn. Nowadays Mariana keeps on training. She is

getting ready for new competitions and keep on being the BMX queen, she had promoted

different campaigns in order to avoid the sport fund reduction that the government wants to

implement in Colombia. She is a very dedicated woman who loves her work and wants to

introduce kids to the sport world. Hence, she has been the inspiration for hundreds of kids

in Colombia and Latin America, she was training kids in Medellin and different cities in

Colombia, and have motivated people, especially women to practice extreme sports.
