DFCYR Life Skills Curriculum

TITLE: Bullying (Conflict, Forgiveness & Boundaries)


OBJECTIVE: By the end of this group, participants will understand the short term and long term effects of
bullying. Both as the bully and the person being bullied.
HRS: 1 Hour
MATERIALS: Activity sheets, pens and pencils.

Students will demonstrate an


understanding of bullying and its effects on
their environments. Youth will participate

ensure a supportive learning community
built on mutual respect.
Charades Have the class work in teams
of 4-5. Instruct the teams to identify one
type of person they all find difficult. Then
ICEBREAKER have the team act out that type of person
15 MINS while the rest of the group tries to guess
what they are acting.
PeaceBuilders Banish Bullying Survey
Students will take a three page survey
about bullying. Highlighting cause,
ACTIVITY prevention, and identifying bullies and the
35 MINS act of bullying. After the survey facilitator
will facilitate a discussion on what was
learned.
Facilitator will recap important or the most
talked about topics with the group before
dismissal.
