Arizona Driver License Manual: and Customer Service Guide
Arizona Driver License Manual: and Customer Service Guide
Hello,
The Arizona Department of Transportation, Motor Vehicle Division (ADOT MVD) is pleased
to provide this guide to Arizona motoring laws and information for conducting vehicle
and driver license processes. Our goal is to supply you with essential safety information,
whether you are a new Arizona driver or an experienced driver interested in brushing up
on traffic laws.
MVD delivers services for millions of Arizona motorists each year and the numbers are
growing! To keep pace with that growth, and to ensure fast, efficient service, Arizona
was the first state in the nation to provide far-reaching electronic alternatives for MVD
services. Each year we continue to enhance those services.
We encourage you to take advantage of our online options at ServiceArizona.com. There
are also more than 100 privately operated Authorized Third Party locations to serve you
across the state. Find one convenient for you at azdot.gov/mvdlocations.
In Arizona, Transportation Is Personal, and our top priority is your safety. Please review
our Strategic Highway Safety Plan to learn more at azdot.gov/shsp.
We look forward to providing you with outstanding customer service and a safe driving
experience.
Sincerely,
Eric R. Jorgensen
Director
Motor Vehicle Division
