GUIDELINES FOR WRITING PAPERS

Abstract
Text of the abstract, which should be placed at the beginning of the paper, is to be written in English, in Times New
Roman 10, within 5 - 7 lines.

1. Introduction
All the authors are asked to prepare their papers in compliance with the following
guidelines. The papers should be written in Slovak, Czech or in English. The following format
should be kept: a page size A 4 (21 cm x 29,7 cm), spacing 1 (single), margins for the whole
paper: 2.5 cm - left margin, 2.5 cm - right margin, 2.5 cm - top margin, 2,5 cm - bottom margin.
The authors names and address should be written on the first page without titles only, the full
adress should be written at the end of paper.
The title of the paper should be written in Times New Roman 14, in bold. Subtitles should
be written in Times New Roman 12, in bold. The paper itself should be written in Times New
Roman 12.
The number of pages should not exceed 8 pages of A4 format, figures, tables, references
and enclosures included. The pages should not be numbered.

2. Text
The segmentation of the text should be done like this:
first level:

second level,
second level,
first level:

second level,
second level.

3. Mathematical formulae
The formulae used in the paper should be numbered. The number of the formula should be
written in brackets near the right margin.

4. Figures, tables, graphs

Figures, tables and graphs should be included in the text and numbered in Arabic numerals.
