Plot Points from Snow White and the Huntsman

1. Snow Whites mother wishes for a child as white as snow, with lips as red as blood, hair as black as a
ravens wings, and all with the strength of that rose.

2. Snow White is born. Shes adored not just for her beauty but also for her defiant spirit.

3. Snow Whites mother praises the beauty in Snows heart, cautioning her to never lose it.

4. William, Snows friend, plucks an apple from a special tree, pretends to give it to her, then takes a bite
for himself.

5. Snows mother dies.

6. A Dark Army lures the widowed king into battle. The king is victorious.

7. He becomes enchanted by the armys beautiful captive, Ravenna. Shes a witch who intended for this
to happen all along.

8. Ravenna confesses to young Snow that she feels they are bound together.

9. Ravenna marries the king, jealously observing that the entire court adores Snow White.

10. While castigating the intentions of men, who ruin women and then toss them to the dogs like
scraps, Ravenna murders the king in his bed.

11. Ravenna welcomes her brother, Finn, into the castle. He brings with him a large army loyal to her.

12. After Snow White discovers her dads dead body, she tries to flee.

13. William escapes with his dad, but Snow is caught by Finn.

14. Ravenna asks a solid gold mirror, whos the fairest one of all? A man, Midas-like emerges, and
replies, It is you, my queen.

15. Under Ravennas reign, the kingdom withers.

16. Meanwhile, imprisoned in the North Tower, Snow White has grown into a young woman.

17. A young girl, Greta, is imprisoned in a cell next to Snow Whites.

18. Snow learns that Williams dad, Duke Hammond, is still alive, but Greta doesnt know if William is.

19. After Ravenna takes a bath in milk, she kills a young rebel in front of his father and reveals her
invincibility.

20. Despite her powers, Ravennas aging.

21. Finn produces Greta, and Ravenna sucks all of the youth out of the poor girl.

22. Ravenna questions her mirror, who has an unpleasant response. Ravennas aging because Snow
White has come of age. The mirror tells Ravenna that Snow White can kill her, but that if Ravenna
steals Snows heart, shell gain youthful immortality.

23. Snow White fends off Finn and escapes from her prison cell. Hunted by Ravennas soldiers, Snow
White exits the castle via the sewers.
24. On a white horse, she gallops away from Ravennas men. The horse abandons her at the edge of a
terrifying enchanted forest.

25. Ravenna yells at Finn and demands he find someone to hunt Snow White.

26. Enter the Huntsman. Hes a drunkard, but a fighter.

27. Ravenna promises the Huntsman that if he can capture the prisoner whos escaped into the forest,
shell bring his wife back to life.

28. In the forest, as the Huntsman tracks Snow White, Finn and his men follow.

29. When the Huntsman captures Snow, Finn reveals that even Ravenna cant bring the Huntsmans wife
back from the dead.

30. The Huntsman battles with Finn and Finns men, finally promising Snow White to take her to Duke
Hammond in exchange for gold.

31. William, whos grown into a brave and skilled bowman, learns Snow White is still alive and vows to
find her.

32. In the forest, Snow and the Huntsman argue. Meanwhile, William joins a group of bounty hunters,
helmed by Finn.

33. The Huntsman teaches Snow how to fight.

34. Theyre just about to leave the forest, when theyre attacked by a troll. Snow White manages to quell
the beastie with a loving glance.

35. They take refuge in a village by the river where the women deliberately scar their cheeks so Ravenna
wont capture them and steal their beauty.

36. The village leader reveals Snow Whites true identity as the rightful princess to the Huntsman.

37. In the middle of the night, he deserts Snow White. But when he realizes that Finn and his men are
attacking the village, he returns and rescues Snow. William is on-site too, but hes unable to help
Snow White.

38. In a flashback, we see Ravenna drink a potion made by her mother which will make Ravenna eternally
beautiful. But, her mother warns her, the spell can be undone by the fairest blood.

39. As the eight dwarves hang Snow White and the Huntsman from a tree, Snow reveals that shes the
princess. A blind dwarf named Muir confirms it. The dwarves cut their captives down and escape to
Sanctuary, home to the fairies.

40. At nightfall, they reminiscence, sing, and dance around a campfire.

41. Led by benevolent fairies, Snow White ventures deep into Sanctuary where the White Hart blesses
her.

42. But Finns men have discovered their hideout. One shoots the hart with an arrow. William tries to
rescue Snow White and reveals his identity to her.

43. The Huntsman kills Finn, who reveals that he killed the Huntsmans wife.

44. Old and withered, Ravenna writhes on the floor as she experiences Finns death.
45. A bounty hunters arrow pierces one of the dwarves. At his funeral, they vow to follow Snow White to
claim their pride again.

46. They burn the dead dwarfs body and begin the journey towards Duke Hammonds castle.

47. Ravenna practices some kind of dark magic. Meanwhile, William confesses how he feels about Snow
White to the Huntsman.

48. The next morning, William reveals his feelings to Snow White. They kiss. He tosses her an apple.
When she bites it, she falls down onto the snow-covered ground becauseits not William, but
Ravenna in disguise. The queen is about to stab Snow White, but she is thwarted by the Huntsman
(and the real William). Both are devastated by the loss of Snow White.

49. Ravenna returns to her castle, even more aged than before.

50. Bearing Snow Whites body, a somber party arrives at Duke Hammonds castle. Filled with grief, the
Huntsman kisses Snow White in farewell.

51. Unbeknownst to him, she wakes up.

52. In the courtyard, she asks the people to follow her into battle against Ravenna. In solidarity, they
kneel before her.

53. She leads the charge from Hammonds castle towards Ravennas.

54. The dwarves sneak inside the castle via the sewers.

55. As Snow White and her army canter down the beach, the dwarves work to raise Ravennas portcullis.

56. The queens soldiers hurl balls of fire at Snow Whites galloping army, following that blitz with scores
of arrows.

57. Snow White makes it to the portcullis, but the dwarves have been ambushed. Finally, they regain
control of the portcullis, and Snow White and her army breach Ravennas castle.

58. As hand-to-hand combat ensues, Snow White breaks off from the group to search for Ravenna.

59. In front of Snow, Ravenna unleashes magical iron soldiers against the Huntsman, William, and more
of Hammonds men.

60. Ravenna disarms Snow and vows to rule forever.

61. Just as Ravenna is about to stab Snow White, Snow stabs her instead. Youth evaporating, Ravenna
dies.

62. Snow White is crowned queen. EveryoneWilliam, the dwarves, Duke Hammond, the courtiers, and
the Huntsmanhails to their new leader.

PLOT HOLES

Minor Plot hole: Kristen Stewart is not hotter than Charlize smexy-baby Theron. How are we supposed
to take your movie seriously? Here is a scientific formula you need to use in the future to evade such
blasphemy: Charlize Therron > a cardboard cut-out of Kristen Stewarts emotionless face that somehow
makes her less creepy because you know its not a real human gazing at you like a giant LEGO > Kristen
Stewart.
Major Plot hole: There is no way Charlize Theron could be Queen after the prologue. You see, she is found
under suspicious circumstances on a battlefield the sole survivor of the enemys army, she marries the
King the next day, she stabs him in the chest a few hours later on their honeymoon, and somehow the
whole kingdom lets her keep the crown after knowing her for 24 hours and knowing someone stabbed
their beloved King in the chest while he was alone in his bed with his wife. But its totally not her. Nothing
suspicious here, move along, Im going to stay Queen, and I present you my brother and new royal
adviser: a paedophile albino. Dont judge a book by its cover! Even when the book licks it lips in front of
your children.

Major Plot hole: The Queen gained the ability to become virtually immortal by feeding on other peoples
youth. She has been around for quite some time and mentions herself that she lived 20 lifetimes. But her
paedophile albino brother (or P.A.B in the elitist screenwriting scene) does not have this power and yet
he looks the same age as her. Did he live 20 lifetimes too? Her P.A.B should be dead from the start of the
movie as the mighty god of abortion commanded it.

Major Plot hole: Poor Snow White. She is so pure and fragile. She was unjustly thrown in a jail for most of
her life having only vague memories of the times she could run in the vast fields of her kingdom. Oh my
god she escapes! Wow, she sure runs kinda fast for an atrophied prisoner, even the trained soldiers cant
catch her. Lord she just dashed in a sewer pipe like goddamn Megan-Man with perfect precision. Oh no.
Shes stuck now, there are only tidal waves and pointy rocks ahead of her and its not like she had access to
the prison swimming pool in the past 15 years. WTF she jumped ! Oh. It cuts to the beach I guess she
was a pretty good swimmer after all, maybe she could give Michael Phelps an advice or two.

Dude. No. Dude, you cant ride a horse without a saddle on your first try without any problems
especially with your prisoners bony legs and especially when your horse is a fan of Shadowfax in Lord of
the Rings. Oh. God. Youre a fighter now? The huntsman gave you a 5 second workshop on how to stab
things and now you are a bad-ass fighter? You never lifted anything this whole movie ! Not a branch, not a
sword, not even your facial muscles. But now you are lifting a heavy sword and leading an army into
battle. What happened to that pure and fragile Snow White ? Did the producers cut the 20 minutes
training montage? I mean, I would prefer spending a night with a P.A.B. than actually seeing it but I
want to know it exists. Because you make no sense Snow White. You make no sense. I hate you. I would
still touch you. But I hate you.

Major Plot hole: The Queen finds Snow White in a snowy forest and shape-shifts into William to fulfill her
lesbian fantasies while destroying ours. She kisses Snow White, gives her a poisonous apple and THEN,
tries to take her heart. But heres the catch: Why wait so long? The Queen showed in an earlier scene that
she could take any heart at will by immobilizing people with magic. So why not simply go for the kill
instead of wasting valuable time before her protector shows-up? Because Snow White had to survive,
obviously. But here is a pro-tip for all you screenwriters out there: dont make your villains too over-
powered otherwise you will have to write shitty scenes like this to keep your story rolling. Bonus question:
How did The Queen find Snow White in the forest anyway?
