To Whom It May Concern:

Two tickets (ref# 404076, ticket# 41922918) were purchased for a Greyhound bus travelling
from Vancouver, BC to Prince George, BC, departing on March 12, 2017. On the morning of the
departure, the passengers were denied access to the vehicle on the basis that they were under
the age of fifteen. Their ages on the date of departure were twelve and ten years old.

The website from which the tickets were purchased, www.greyhound.ca, indicated that
passengers between the ages two and eleven, inclusive, are categorized as children. I was
falsely lead to believe that one adult and one child would be travelling; one childrens ticket and
one adults ticket was purchased.

It was not made immediately clear that the passenger aged twelve faced restrictions that barred
him from entry, including but not limited to: not possessing a completed Unaccompanied Child
Form, and travelling a duration of time exceeding five hours. Even though the passengers did
not meet the eligibility requirements to board the vehicle, at no point during the registration
process was I prohibited from buying the tickets, or given a warning of any kind.

Unless the conditions for unaccompanied children (pertaining to children aged eight to fourteen)
were specifically sought out, there was nothing to indicate that two passengers aged twelve and
ten would be considered unaccompanied children.

I would like to request a refund as I was not explicitly given the information needed to decide
whether or not to follow through with the transaction. Thank you for your time and
understanding.

Sincerely,
