KATHMANDU, Jan 5: President of the Nepali Congress, Sushil Koirala and senior leader of the CPN-

UML, Madhav Kumar Nepal, held a meeting at the latters residence at Koteshwor on Sunday.

During the meeting, the leaders discussed post-election politics, formation of government, election to
local bodies and the consensus among political parties, said Mohan Gautam, personal aide of leader
Nepal.

UML leader urged the Nepali Congress to bring a proper proposal for the national consensus and
formation of government.

NC President Koirala is said to have taken UML leader Nepals proposal positively and that the NC was
not for moving ahead unilaterally as reported outside. The NC, according to President Koirala, was open
to discussion among the major political parties.

Similarly, they have been learnt to have discussed on economic development after the constitution
writing.
