Installation TDFA 3.1.2 en
Installation TDFA 3.1.2 en
Pre-requisite:
The file transfer station must be a PC with the following specifications:
- Windows XP, vista or 7
- access to the file server of the subsidiary company (Sun socle Renault.net)
- access to the Dealer Management System (via NFS ou autre)
- at least a pentium 1 GHz processor
- a 1Go RAM
- 200 MB free space on the disk (for the TDFA package and the log files). Additional free space is
needed for the files to be transferred.
- You must have administrative rights to install on windows XP desktops I norder to get access to
AT windows scheduler used by TDFAuto
- You must activate and use the super admin mode on windows Vista and 7 in order to get
access to the AT windows scheduler used by TDFAuto
N.B.: It is possible to use the same PC for the manual file transfer, but the PC must remain active permanently
during the night.
If another version of TDFA V3.1.2 is already installed on the system, it is recommended to rename the folder
C:\Tdfa to C:\Tdfa_save for instance. If WinCron is already present on the PC, the TDFA installation program
detects it and the configuration of this program will not be changed.
If AT is used, the task schedule defined in C:\Tdfa_save\Appli\stcron1.bat could be reused by copying it into the
new tdfa installation.
Download the TDFA 3.1.2 package matching your platform and country on:
http://rigel.dcs.renault.fr:8080/tdf/FullInternet/V3.1
The JRE 1.6 is embedded in the package. There no more dependencies between the JRE installed on your system
and TDFA.
Click on Install
Get your new certificates at the site https://dcs.renault.com/rnz_pki/home.html. Copy it in cert directory.
Note: If you already have a technical certificate on your server, you will be able to import it automatically later
on during the installation process
The user has to provide some parameters to the application. Every input must be validated by the Enter key.
In the choice-lists that will be shown, select the number associated to your choice and not the word itself.
The execution of Setup.bat will open a DOS command window, and the input of the parameters is required.
Validate each parameter with the Enter key.
A list is shown and one of the numbers before the country-names must be selected. Do not enter the country
name itself, only the number is required.
Select the language of your operating system. Therefore, we can provide you a default task planning
configuration, that matches your environment (file C:\Tdfa\Appli\stcron1.bat).
The passwords of the TDFA-certificates are saved in an encrypted file on your Hard Disk. This is encryption is
necessary to protect you against possible attacks. Therefore you have to initialize the password-file for each
instance of TDFA that is used on your PC. This initialization is done automatically by the script
InitPassword.bat (which is also called by the scripts UpdateToV3.bat or Setup.bat ).
During the execution of this script:
If you dont have copied the technical certificate downloaded from https://dcs.renault.com/rnz_pki/home.html in
C:\Tdfa\cert and if you already have a technical certificate on your server, the InitPassword.bat script offers
you to import it:
If you click on y:
Then,
You have to specify the property-file you want to manipulate, then the certificate which is attached to this
property-file. After that you have to enter the password of the certificate, which will be stored in an encrypted
file property-file-name .pass.
You can decide to manipulate another property-file or to stop the execution of this script.
Please refer to the user documentation for setting up TDFA in the right way.
NB: The TDFA installation must be launched as many times as needed, in order to modify the parameters.
